Academic/Learning Strategist, Coach, Accessibility Consultant

  • I’m part of a diverse team of therapists who aim to provide counselling support that meets your needs. I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field in hospital and post-secondary settings and remote social work in indigenous communities. I primarily work with adults who are feeling distressed by complex events in their lives, as well as individuals with mental health challenges. I also help clients cope with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

I utilize a combination of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques, including cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma therapy and talk therapy. I strive to understand multiple viewpoints and work with clients to provide a range of strategies for improving their overall functioning, addressing anxiety, managing stress and crisis management.
